Women’s Health Chiropractic
Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Care Across Every Stage of Life.
A Different Standard of Care for Women
Women’s bodies change across the lifespan, and pain, recovery, inflammation, and movement do not behave the same way at every stage.
Women’s health is a specialized area of my clinical training and practice, informed by evidence, experience, and an understanding that women are not simply “smaller versions” of men.
Care is individualized, respectful, and designed to support women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, athletic performance, hormonal transitions, and long-term joint health.
Many women seeking care feel unheard, dismissed, or told that pain is “normal” for their stage of life.
My approach is different.
Care is built around:
Listening first
Understanding the full picture
Respecting physiological and hormonal differences
Providing clear education and practical tools
The goal is not just symptom relief, it’s helping you understand your body, trust it, and support it with confidence.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
Pregnancy places unique demands on the body as posture, joint loading, and movement patterns change.
Care during pregnancy may support:
Low back, pelvic, and hip pain
Mid-back and rib discomfort
Postural strain
Preparation for delivery
Comfort and mobility as the body adapts
All care is gentle, evidence-informed, and adapted to each stage of pregnancy.
Postpartum & C-Section Recovery
Postpartum recovery is not a six-week timeline — it’s a process.
Care after delivery may support:
Low back, hip, and pelvic discomfort
Core and abdominal recovery
Scar mobility following C-section
Return to exercise and daily activity
Physical demands of feeding, carrying, and caring for an infant
Care is paced, intentional, and focused on rebuilding confidence in movement.
Return to Exercise & Sport
Returning to exercise after pregnancy or injury requires more than “just getting back into it.”
Care may include:
Movement and strength assessment
Progressive return-to-exercise planning
Core, hip, and pelvic stability support
Education around load management and recovery
The goal is safe, confident return to activity, not fear-based restrictions or rushed timelines.
Hormones, Inflammation & Pain
Hormonal fluctuations across the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, and menopause can influence:
Pain sensitivity
Inflammation
Joint stiffness
Recovery capacity
Care considers where you are hormonally and how that may be affecting symptoms, training tolerance, and recovery, allowing treatment and recommendations to be better timed and more effective.
Active Women & Female Athletes
Women who train, compete, and stay active place unique demands on their bodies.
Care for active women may include:
Sport-specific assessment
Injury rehabilitation
Performance and recovery support
Load management and overuse prevention
Long-term joint health strategies
Care supports longevity in sport, not just short-term performance.
Arthritis & Long-Term Joint Health
Women experience osteoarthritis differently and often live longer with degenerative joint conditions.
Care focuses on:
Pain management
Joint mobility and strength
Activity modification (not avoidance)
Lifestyle strategies that support independence and quality of life
