Infants & Children
Gentle, Safe, & Supportive Care For Growing Bodies
What is pediatric chiropractic care?
Pediatric chiropractic care focuses on the unique needs of infants and children, using gentle, specialized techniques to support their growth, development, and overall well-being. It’s not the same as adult chiropractic care, every assessment, adjustment, and technique is adapted for smaller bodies and developing nervous systems.
Instead of high-force adjustments, pediatric care uses light touch, gentle mobilizations, and age-appropriate soft tissue techniques. These approaches are comfortable, calming, and tailored to your child’s stage of growth.
Why Chiropractic Care for Infants & Children?
From the moment they are born, children go through rapid growth and changes that can affect their posture, movement, and comfort. Birth itself, whether vaginal or via C-section, can place stress on an infant’s neck, spine, and shoulders. As they grow, new milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, and running bring both incredible development and new physical demands.
Pediatric chiropractic care can help:
Support proper alignment and posture during rapid growth
Relieve muscle tension or joint restrictions that may affect movement
Promote healthy nervous system function
Monitor and support development through each milestone
Provide guidance to parents for safe movement, positioning, and play
Infant Wellness Checks
Just like regular check-ups with your pediatrician, infant chiropractic wellness checks focus on observing and supporting physical development. During these visits, I assess:
Posture and head positioning (checking for signs of torticollis or flat spots)
Neck and spine mobility
Symmetry of movement and muscle tone
Developmental milestones (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking)
Comfort with feeding positions and tummy time
General musculoskeletal health and movement patterns
Wellness checks are not about finding “problems” but ensuring your child’s body is moving and developing as it should and if small issues are found, they can often be addressed early before becoming bigger concerns.
Common Concerns Chiropractic Care May Help With
Torticollis (head tilt) and limited neck movement
Latching or feeding difficulties in infants
Reflux, colic, and digestive discomfort
Sleep disturbances
Postural changes from growth spurts or screen time
Sports or play-related aches and injuries
Headaches or tension in older children
Growing pains
Recovery after falls or bumps
Scoliosis monitoring and support
General wellness and preventative care
A Gentle, Child-Friendly Approach
Your child’s comfort and safety always come first. Parents are encouraged to be part of every visit, from sharing health history to being present during treatment.
Appointments are gentle, age-appropriate, and tailored to your child’s needs that day, whether it’s soft tissue release, gentle mobilizations, positioning guidance, or playful movement support. Techniques are always light, safe, and adapted for growing bodies.
I’ll also share simple tips for home, like tummy time strategies, stretches, posture support, or sport-specific advice for older kids. The goal is to help your child move well, grow well, and thrive, now and into the future.

Headaches, Stress & TMJ
Relief for Tension, Jaw Pain, and the Weight We Carry
Tension in the head, neck, and jaw is often a physical reflection of the stress we carry, whether it’s from posture, grinding our teeth, hormonal shifts, or emotional load. These areas are deeply connected, and chiropractic care offers safe, effective relief for those dealing with headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and chronic stress-related tension.
My approach combines hands-on techniques, gentle adjustments, and calming strategies to help you feel better, physically and mentally.
TMJ - TMJ treatment is hands-on, focusing on relieving tension and restoring function in the jaw, face, neck, and upper back. Care includes soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, gentle nerve pressure techniques, and when appropriate, neck and upper back adjustments. Breathing exercises, passive mobilizations, and tailored rehab help address both symptoms and root causes. Every session is customized to ensure comfort, safety, and lasting relief.
Headaches - Headaches are common, but you don’t have to live with them. My treatment blends hands-on techniques targeting key tension areas like the neck, upper back, scalp, and jaw, with a special focus on the sub-occipital region at the base of the skull. Soft tissue release, mobilizations, and manual therapy often provide immediate relief. We’ll also identify and correct triggers like posture, stress, and movement habits to help prevent headaches from returning.
Stress - Stress often shows up as muscle tension, headaches, fatigue, and discomfort. My approach is holistic, focusing on releasing physical tension while also addressing the triggers behind it. We identify where your body holds stress, like the neck, shoulders, jaw, or back, and use hands-on techniques to release it. I also guide you through simple strategies to recognize stress patterns and build healthy coping habits for daily life. This care supports both your body and mind through life’s challenges.
